 You're fighting a hunter-gatherer cave elfThis hulking, knuckle-dragging cave elf is responsible for hunting and gathering food for the rest of the cave elves. He's a little more useful than the hunter-gatherer-hunter cave elves, who just hang out waiting to beat the crap out of hunter-gatherer cave elves. It's a confusing system, I grant you, but keep in mind these guys don't have the most developed brains in the world.
Hit Message(s):
He throws a handful of seeds at you. You recoil from the seedy attack. Oof! Oof! Eek! Ow! (sleaze damage)
He gathers up a handful of gravel and throws it in your face. You flail around blindly for a few minutes, scraping your knuckles on the cave walls. Eek! Eek! Eek! Eek!
He gathers a couple of sticks together, then hits you with them. Ugh! Ugh! Ugh! Oof!
He whips you with a handful of leaves. You really wish he'd leave you alone. Argh! Ow! Eek! Oof!
Critical Hit Message:
He hunts up a sizable cache of pain and delivers it to you. Eek! Argh! Ouch! Ugh!
Miss Message(s):
He throws a handful of seeds at you, but you avoid the seedy attack.
He gathers the courage to hit you, but you successfully hunt for an escape.
He gathers some sticks and tries to hit you with them, but you stick with your dodging strategy.
He tries to whip you with leaves, but you convince him to leave you alone.

He hunts for something to hit you with, but can't seem to find anything that'd do enough damage. He expands his hunting area while you wait for him to come back to the fight.
