You read the mystic runes on the Hermit Script, and feel the fabric of reality begin to alter around you.
A message briefly flickers on the scroll.
"The Hermit has been hax0red. You may now enter the Hermitage through the back door. Enjoy your backdoor access to the Hermit."
The message fades, and the scroll disintegrates in your hands.

Notes
- When used, gives you permanent access to The Hermitage, making hermit permits obsolete until you ascend. After using this, when trading with the Hermit, you will see the message:
- You make a trade with the Hermit. He looks confused for a moment. "I already took your Hermit Permits, right?"
References
- "Backdoor access" refers to, among other things, the ability to access a system using an alternate method (a "back door") which bypasses authentication and other access restrictions.
- In the spirit of the Orc Chasm, "Backdoor access" is also a euphemism for a certain sexual act.
- Curly braces are used for code blocks in most programming and web design languages (such as C and PHP).
