Fisherfish
From TheKolWiki
 You're fighting a fisherfish
You're not being presented with much of a choice, here -- looks like you're going to have to go with the fish.
While you may have heard of anglerfish, they're actually not the most effective at what they do -- this fish is familiar with angling, flyfishing, and even such exotic methods as trout tickling and fishing with dynamite. And now it's fishing for the most dangerous catch of all -- you.
Hit Message(s):
It ensnares you with a little filament of mucus, then bites you on the <throat>. Eww. And Ouch. Ooh! Ouch! Ouch! Ouch! Oof! Ouch! Ooh! Ow! Ouch! Ooh!
It gnaws on your <throat> with needle-like teeth. It's like getting dozens of simultaneous tattoos. Ow! Ooh! Ooh! Argh! Ugh! Ouch! Ooh! Oof! Ouch! Eek!
It opens its enormous jaws around your <throat> and nearly bites it off. Argh! Eek! Ouch! Eek! Ouch! Oof! Oof! Oof! Ooh! Argh!
Critical Hit Message:
It goes into a feeding frenzy and completely skeletonizes your <throat> in just 3 seconds. Ow. Ugh! Ouch! Ugh! Ooh! Oof! Argh! Argh! Ooh! Oof! Oof!
Miss Message(s):
It tries to ensnare you with a filament of mucous, but you produce a hanky and wipe it off.
It swims toward you to attack, but gets distracted by its own dangling face-appendage and ends up swimming in circles for a while instead.
It opens its enormous jaws to bite you, but its TMJ flares up and its mouth gets stuck open.
Fumble Message:
It swims toward you to attack, but the the little light on its forehead goes out, and it's unable to see you until it goes downstairs to replace the fuse.

References
- The first line about not having much of a choice refers to a way to interpret the fisherfish's name: "fish or fish".
- The name comes from anglerfish, an order of fish that uses an esca to lure prey towards it. "Angler" is a synonym for "fisher" -- a reference itself to the mode of predation of an anglerfish.
- The line about "most dangerous catch" is a reference to the story "The Most Dangerous Game" by Richard Connell.
- TMJ, mentioned in the third miss message, is a reference to the temporomandibular joint, the joint for the jaw. TMJ is usually used by laymen to describe any sort of disorder with the joint (such as lockjaw or tetanus).
