This is a fancy glass container full of fancy bath salts. They're for dissolving into a bath if you're not feeling fancy enough. I suppose you could also dissolve them into your washing machine if your pants weren't fancy enough for you.

- Salting the earth kills plant-life and renders soil useless. However, the concentration of salt required is actually rather high.
- Putting salt on real-life slugs will kill them too.
- The description text mentioning putting salt in one's washing machine to make one's pants fancy refers to the nickname/insult "fancy pants."
