evil vihuela-playing mariachi You're fighting an evil vihuela-playing mariachi

This is an evil mariachi (are there any other kind?) armed with what is basically a special South of the Border guitar, only not exactly.

I mean, it's not exactly a guitar, not that he's not exactly armed with it. He's definitely armed with it. And prepared to lay the tortazo-abajo on you.

Hit Message(s):

He tries to explain his not-a-guitar to you, but every time he says 'vihuela', you say 'gesundheit', and eventually he gets angry and tries to beat you up instead. Ugh! Argh!

Critical Hit Message:

He performs a spirited South of the Border hat dance. With your hat. With your head still in it. Ooh! Oof!

Miss Message(s):

He plays you a pretty snappy little number. You applaud appreciatively.

He strums his vihuela and hums. Looks like he just wants echar sus versos del alma.

He sings a verse of "Dos Arbolitos." It's not as good as "Dos Arrrrbolitos," the song that the pirate mariachis play.

He plays a tune on his sorta-guitar, but it's not one you recognize.

He sings a few verses of "Cielito Lindo." You follow his instructions and sing and don't cry.

He starts to attack you, but you make fun of his weird little guitar until he cries. Dang man, that's just mean.
