Eek! Eek!
You come to your senses lying on what feels like cold linoleum, which doesn't make any sense, because linoleum is for weapon-crafting, not for making floors. Your head throbs -- "gah," you think to yourself, rubbing your antennae together, "I had this horrible dream that I was a cockroach -- oh, yeah."
Then from far above you, you hear a shriek of terror and disgust. A huge woman is looming over you, waving a broom at you. She's got horn-rimmed glasses on, and a skirt with a poodle embroidered on it, and she's wearing high heels and make-up even though she's cleaning house. I guess some of that's not particularly relevant -- you should focus on the "giant woman with broom" and forget the rest.
You turn tail and flee the approaching broom. Each whisk of its bristles is deafening; if death had a giant broom instead of a scythe, he'd be a lot scarier.
Just as you're about to be swept into the afterlife, you finally find a hole in the kitchen's baseboard and scamper into it. Ah, this is what a cockroach likes: a nice quiet, dark, warm place full of white powder. . .
Okay, so the white powder is a little annoying. But as you inhale some of it, you find that it's really not so bad. In fact, your little cockroach mind is starting to expand in ways it never did before.
You steel yourself and rush straight into the giant broom the shrieking woman is swinging at you. You dodge between the bristles, taking care not to be swept away, swept up in the moment, or swept under the rug. It's quite the workout.
You look frantically around for a place to hide, and see that the refrigerator's open just a crack. You scuttle under the refrigerator and wait for the woman to give up looking for you, then crawl up and into the fridge itself. You see a bottle that looks like a Cloaca-Cola bottle, but the letters written on it are unfamiliar. You try desperately to get in touch with your human brain enough to read it: M-O-X-I-E. Woah, it's some kind of concentrated moxie potion! Excellent! You tip the bottle over and slurp up the liquid. It's carbonated and a little bitter, and it doesn't make you feel very moxious at all. Oh welll, at least the bubbles are refreshing.
Occurs upon selecting "Find a hiding place" during Enter the Roach.
