[edit] When Used

• Against monsters from The Valley Beyond the Orc Chasm (except a rampaging adding machine and Some Bad ASCII Art):

Dictionary
	You begin to read from the dictionary. Your opponent writhes in pain, suffering 30-60 points of spelling damage.

• Against anything else:

Dictionary
	You begin to read from the dictionary. Your opponent is nonplussed.

• The dictionary can only be obtained by untinkering the abridged dictionary.
• Can be used in combat (reusable) to deal lots of spelling damage in The Valley Beyond the Orc Chasm.
• Can also be used outside of the Valley to allow a familiar to act without killing the opponent.
• Upon completion of the Orc Chasm Quest, exchanged for a facsimile dictionary.
• Even with Ambidextrous Funkslinging, a dictionary and a facsimile dictionary cannot be used in the same round.
