- This item refers to an incident at the 1994 U.S. Figure Skating Championships in which an assailant clubbed skater Nancy Kerrigan in the knee with a collapsible baton. Rival skater Tonya Harding and her ex-husband Jeff Gillooly were later implicated in the attack.
