Category talk:Booze (By Drunkenness)

From TheKolWiki

Many more booze items need the added to them,
for example This will auto add the Booze (By Drunkenness) page in order.

 • Pretty cool how it strips out the leading number. I didn't know it would do that. --Snickles 21:46, 21 Jun 2005 (Central Daylight Time)
 • How it works is that it's ordered by what you put in the category tag, but displays the page name. You could put on, say, a bodyslam and it would display as a bodyslam, but be in the position of a vesper. Clever idea, JR. --Agent Lex 16:29, 22 Jun 2005 (Central Daylight Time)
 • Be careful because of how wiki aphabetizes, case matters!, for example right now the mafia items are listed first because wiki orders (ABC..Zabc...z), so since most items are lowercase (the category automatically capitalizes the first letter in the list though), i'd suggest that all items should have the first letter of what they are ordered by be lowercase, for example would order Uovo Marcio Shiraz properly in 1, instead of all the natively leading capital items being grouped up top like they are now. I already did the "Imp Ale" entry as "imp Ale" like this to test it.--JRSiebz 20:16, 22 Jun 2005 (Central Daylight Time)
 • I'm taking care of the mafia items as we, well I, speak.. I mean write.--JRSiebz 21:13, 23 Jun 2005 (Central Daylight Time)

Strange, I've noticed that some of the items (a couple of sword drinks, coincidentally) that link to this category don't realise that the category is there. See bodyslam for an example of what I mean. Anyone know what's going on? --Agent Lex 18:57, 22 Jun 2005 (Central Daylight Time)

 • I would guess it to be a browser issue. Try clearing your cache, and seeing if that fixes the problem. It appears just fine for me on the bodyslam page, for instance. --Aardvark 19:05, 22 Jun 2005 (Central Daylight Time)
 • Nope, nothing. Still coming up as a red link. Strange that it's just for me, and just for 1 or 2 pages. --Agent Lex 19:13, 22 Jun 2005 (Central Daylight Time)
 • The link from Bodyslam shows up as red for me too, and the wiki automatically sends me to the edit page like it does not exist even though it does. Strange indeed.--JRSiebz 20:21, 22 Jun 2005 (Central Daylight Time)
 • Aha! To fix it just cut the line, save it, put it back in and save it again. This happens with the few booze items I put in the category first (before I added text to the category page), and i started with sword drinks and schnapps. Still strange though.--JRSiebz 20:25, 22 Jun 2005 (Central Daylight Time)

Added a whole bunch of booze items by comparing the booze list to the drunkenness list. I didn't have any info on the new boozes though, so the mushroom wines, etc are still left to do.--Jaguarrl 13:27 24 Jun 2005 (Mountain Daylight Time)

 • When i have been added foods to the fullness category and booze to the drunkenness category i have been making sure all the items have pictures and use the item header template, you should do the same, now some of the items already added to the categories have no pics and/or do not use the item header template. I was using this as a way to check which ones still needed refinement. So don't add items unless you make sure they are standard first, else we have to hunt them down all over again.--JRSiebz 19:45, 24 Jun 2005 (Central Daylight Time)

-The ? section of the page is weird. the "with a fly in it" drinks should be in the "0" section since they in fact, give zero drunkenness
