Whistles are 1-handed ranged weapons. They are generally annoying, hence the +ML modifiers.
Whistle-Specific Hit Messages:
You play a descending note on your <whistle>. An anvil falls from the clear blue sky, crushing <it> for X damage. BAM! BAM! ZOT!
You play a wolf-whistle on your <whistle>. <it> blushes and waves shyly, then takes X damage of embarrassment when you laugh at <it>. POW! BARF! BAM!
You use your whistle to blow something horribly rude in Morse code. <it> gets the message and takes X damage worth of shock. BARF! KAPOW! BOOF!
You let loose with a deafening blast from your whistle. <it> flashes back to high school gym class, taking X damage at the memory of communal showering and dodge ball. ZOT! BAM! WHACK!
You blow a high-pitched blast on the whistle. A dog shows up out of nowhere and tramples <it> for X damage. BONK! POW! BONK!
