Bind Angel Hair Wisp
Bind Angel Hair WispType: Noncombat
MP Cost: 60
The wisps of the underworld are notoriously fickle with their allegiances, but you've learned how to trick... er... convince one of them to help you. At least for now.
Summons an Angel Hair Wisp thrall
|Effect:||Summons a Angel Hair Wisp thrall. A thrall acts like a second familiar in combat.|
- When bound for the first time:
You reach out with your mind, and all at once a voice invades your consciousness.
"Who are you?" it hisses.
"Er... I'm <player name>. Who's this?"
"You must call me <name>. You must give me form. I must live."
"What's in it for me?" you reply.
"You will be... rewarded."
You don't much care for the tone of his voice, but hey, there's no such thing as a bad reward, right?
- Subsequent binding:
You concentrate, and summon a mass of writhing angel hair. A chill permeates the air as <name>'s spirit enters it.
- Attempting to summon as any class besides Pastamancer:
You try to summon a wisp, but only manage to summon a weird mass of translucent noodles. It takes up residence in a ring around your head and starts spouting nonsense in a nearly-inaudible whisper.
|You acquire an effect: Whispering Strands|
