- The message you get when you use this item is a reference to The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. An aside early in the first book describes a poetry reading by Grunthos the Flatulent, one of the worst poets in the galaxy, where "his own major intestine, in a desperate attempt to save life and civilization, leapt straight up through his neck and throttled his brain."
