On March 15, Aces44 was attacked by her significant other, and their son Andrew was killed. Friends of Aces44 (Merrily) would like to ask your help in reaching out to her and trying to make her load just a little bit easier. Besides the great emotional toll of the past few days, she is also facing a great financial burden.
There are several ways you can help. More detail can be found in Gemelli's post here, but here is a quick rundown of the ways you can help.
Starting TODAY:
Pretty Flower Collection Drive- UPDATE!! (March 24-April 9). Sponsored by the Garden of Earthly Delights, donate pretty flowers to CareBot (#1636532). For every 5,000 flowers collected, they will donate $1 to the memorial fund for Andrew, up to a limit of $1000.
There have been items added to the drive, so more people can accessibly help out this cause:
Daisies: 10,000 collected = $1 donated
Tulips: 2,000 collected = $1 donated
Pretty Flowers: 1,000 collected = $1 donated
Long-Stemmed Roses: 100 collected = $1 donated
Item Auctions (April 12-??). A number of KoL and SSW-themed merchandise (as in, not-game items) auctions will be taking place. See Gemelli's here for updates.
Awareness Contests UPDATE!! (DAILY). A special prize will be given every day to the person who donates the most flowers (scaled to the type of flower)! There will also be daily contests and giveaways in /games and through RKoL. Check the post for details.
