Sat, May 10th, 2008, 04:19 AM  Jick -  The way it currently works, the guy who kills the boss, the clan leader, and anybody with dungeon administration privileges can distribute loot. We're trying to avoid situations where a dungeon gets...

Sat, May 10th, 2008, 04:15 AM  Jick -  Pardon my French, but if you don't want to go on a guild raid, don't go on a fucking guild raid. This is akin to saying the game shouldn't have tattoos because you're not personally interested in...

Community Calendar!

I'm proud to announce a new initiative Coldfront is taking in becoming a more useful community resource for all Loathers out there. Over the next few weeks, we'll be rolling out a couple of new tools that will help you keep in touch with your friends and promote your events.

The first such tool has been added today. I'd like to introduce the Community Calendar to you. Say hello. The calendar is here for us to help organize events, whether they be live meets, or KoL-related contests, giveaways, and weeklong celebrations. When you login to Coldfront, you'll be able to see a new Submit link in the User Menu, where you can add an event to the calendar. I've gone ahead and thrown in a few to start off, like the Boston brunch this weekend, and KOL Con V. The more people that come here and add their details, the easier it will be for everyone to follow what's going on around the world. Just make sure you add your contact details, and perhaps a link to the appropriate forum thread, so that others can get the information they may need about it.

Events do need to be approved by admins, but that shouldn't take very long to happen. Still, if it's been a day and your event hasn't appeared on the calendar, shoot me an email.

UPDATE: Also, we've added a new (prettier) login system to the site. If you notice any issues with it, please don't hesitate to let me know.
